Update: Teapot Textiles
Away from the computer screen I have been working away on these decorative shoes. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. My inspiration for the work was Tracy Emin's quilts, I love how she uses primative stitching to tell a very personal story. These are ballet shoes which I have worn untill they are completly exhausted, the decorative stitching gives them a new lease of life and a new purpose, They are now art.
